I have been dealing in oriental antiques for some 25 years initially starting off as a collector, dealing on the side to fund the collecting and then in 1986 I decided to operate on a full time basis. Initially I had positions in a centre in Dorking and in Grays Arcade in the Portobello Road. At the same time I was exhibiting at many of the Antique Fairs being run at the time up and down the country. These included Ardingly, Newark, Shepton Mallet, Petersfield, and later the NEC. My main circuit also included Margaret Browns Fairs and many of the London Hotel Venues also I exhibited at many smaller fairs. I specialize in Netsuke, Inro, Ojime, Tonkotsu, Kiseruzutsu, and other related items, Swords and sword fittings, and Pottery, Porcelain and Bronzes from Japan. From China, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand, Snuff Bottles, Provincial Porcelain, Pottery and Bronzes from the Archaic throught to the Quinq Dynasty. From Tibet and India Bronze Idols and associated Iconography. |
